High Fat and Kale

This is made with 1 lb. of pure, raw, macadamia nuts and loaded with kale! REFRIGERATE upon arrival. This can also be frozen. It would be very cute to press the butter into those silicone molds and freeze in portion sizes!

Though I give kale daily to my HYs they likely eat just a few nibbles. I continue to give, because consistency is key to encourage more diversity in consumption. HOWEVER, they LOVE this mac butter!!! The natural calcium is important for our parrots, especially if you have females who may surprise you with eggs.

Mac Butter is a convenient way to include other supplements, as desired - just mix them in. You can utilize our whole food supplements such as Nourish! and our Dusts.

This butter is SO helpful when bringing home a newly weaned HY into your flock I offer them, by hand, a pea sized piece once or twice to get them to try it. After that I offer about a tablespoon in their morning meal, daily. Works like a charm! At my house I feed fresh in the morning with supplements and mac butter along with a dollop of Red Palm Oil in addition to our special large parrot dry meal. Nuts and freeze dried are supplemented as toppers at dinner / snacks.

Currently this butter will be delivering this in a Ziploc Twist 'n Loc type container which will be very handy to re-use for many other things.
