Chewing wood helps exercise a parrot's beak muscles, keep the beak trim, and keeps them quiet and engaged. This toy provides abundant wood chewing at a moderate difficulty level.

This toy is fairly thick and challenging for most medium to large parrots. All of the wooden slats are 3/4" thick. The longer slats are 8 inches long and the shorter slats are 5 inches long. Spin the toy to line up the parts straight, in a spiral, or all random. Topped with 2 hard maple beads. Mounted on chain so that your bird is chewing wood and not taking the toy apart.

The Parrot Bites Slats toy hangs 16" tall and is up to 8" wide. It is particularly intended as a moderate difficulty level toy for medium parrots including: African Grey, Cape Parrot, Amazon, Small Cockatoos, and Eclectus. It also serves as a milder challenge for large Cockatoos and Macaws. It is a fairly difficult toy for small parrots but can help keep a very active small parrot chewer busy.
